A transformer is a static machine used for transforming power from one circuit to another without changing frequency.
Radiators are used in a transformer to cool the transformer oil through natural air or forced air flowing in these radiator fins. As the transformer oil temperature goes down due to cooling it goes to the transformer tank from bottom, cool the windings and gets heated, and then returns to the radiator for next cooling. This cycle repeats as the oil flow is also natural due difference in temperature of oil on bottom and top.
Pressed Steel Radiators are manufactured from high grade low carbon CRCA 1.22 mm/ 1.0 mm thick sheets in widths of 226 mm (6 flutes). 300 mm (8 flutes) and 520 mm (21 flutes). The sheets are cut and precise profile formed in two stages so as to facilitate smooth and uninterrupted oil flow for heat dissipation. Each individual panel is seam welded. Individual panels are assembled and welded in slotted header pipes made from ERGO' pipes
